Hugh F. Garvin Sr.

Hugh F. Garvin Sr., 75, of Sebring passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, at his home. Hugh was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia on December 5, 1939, the son of the late Oscar and Pearl A. (House) Garvin. Mr. Garvin worked in the warehouse and as a truck driver for Monarch Rubber for 21 years.
Survivors include his four daughters, Jessie (Bob) Pauley of Rootstown, Brenda Garvin of Canton, Sarah (Joseph) McMasters of Alliance, Dolly (Wayne) Stickler of Alliance; a son Hugh F. (Barb) Garvin Jr. of Marlboro Township; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Hugh is also survived by two sisters Lela Gibson of Alliance, Jean DiBattista of Michigan and one brother Oral Garvin of Sherodsville, Ohio. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Marcella (Stevens) Garvin and a brother Russell.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
