Ida Rupe

Ida E. Rupe, 89, of Alliance past away on Thursday evening, September 9, 2010 at Altercare of Alliance. Ida was born in Amsterdam, Ohio on November 1, 1920 the daughter of the late Louie C. and Anna I. (Simmons) Ring; she worked for the Alliance Review for many years retiring in 1976. Ida was a member of the Deerfield Evangelical Friends Church; she enjoyed playing bingo and going bowling. Survivors include; her son in law Duane Anderson, a sister Alberta L. (Otis) Court Vance, a sister Mary Fran Hoebeke, a brother W. Dean (Betty Boyd) Ring all of Alliance. She is also survived by two grandchildren Brian Buehler of Alliance and Lisa (John) Clayton of Canton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert in 1980 her daughter Wanda Anderson in June of 2010, a sister Edna I. Bennett, and two bothers Paul C. Ring and Charles L. Ring Services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Hill officiating. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Ida’s honor to the Deerfield Evangelical Friends Church PO Box 185 Deerfield, OH 44411.
