Imogene Schmid, 90, of Sebring, passed away on January 21, 2013 at Crandall Medical Center. Imogene was born on December 28, 1922 in Parkersburg, West Virginia the daughter of the late Donald and Dora (Rose) Sutton. She was the longest living member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church and a member of Eastern Star. She also worked at the Mount Union College bookstore. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy (Frank) Sterling of North Canton; five grandchildren April (Daryl) Dettweiler of Alliance, Charles Himes of Solon, John K. (Jennifer) Himes of San Bernadino, California, Stephen Sterling of Canton, Nicole (Samuel) Sweitzer of Canton; nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold in 1984, a daughter Eyleen Himes and a brother Fred Sutton. Friends may call from 10:30-12:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Marty Radcliff.
