Iwana Priselac

Iwana Ruth Priselac, 78, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Salem Community Hospital. Iwana was born in Melen, West Virginia on December 31, 1933 the daughter of the late Russell and Flora (Cooper) Pierson. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Survivors include; her husband of 58 years whom she married on June 19, 1954, two daughters, Catherine (Richard) Ludwig of Beloit, Barbara Egnor of Sebring; two sons, George (Janet) Priselac of Elizabeth, West Virginia, Robert (Beth) Priselac of Virginia; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Iwana is also survived by three brothers, Warren Pierson of West Virginia, Larry Pierson of Harrisville, West Virginia, and Everett Pierson of Alliance; three sisters, Mary Reynolds of West Virginia, Ora Yonley of West Virginia, and Carolyn Shaffer of West Virginia. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Theresa Ann in 1961 and five brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday August 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Alliance. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
