J. Paul Allison

J. Paul Allison, 86 of Beloit passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Paul was born in Alliance on December 13, 1928, the son of Dan and Ruby (Brogan) Allison. Paul served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the George D. Worth VFW. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, where he was a member of the Westville Wednesday/Thursday Night Golf League, West Branch Basketball and most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children Gary (Kelly) Allison, Karen Butler, three grandchildren Courtney Butler, Brant Allison and Lane Allison, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Glennie Allison whom he married on July 3, 1954, and three brothers Don Allison, Dale Allison and Kenneth Allison.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 6:00 PM with Pastor Rod Doran officiating.
