Jack William Mather, 71, of Salem passed away on August 31, 2012 at Essex I of Salem. Jack was born on October 9, 1940 the son of Earl and Amelia (Ward) Mather; he was a Counselor for the Columbiana County Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Jack was a member of the Dodge brothers club, an avid fisherman, enjoyed woodworking and antique car restoration. Survivors include his parents, wife, Virginia of Salem, a daughter Roxanne Weber of Salem; two grandchildren, Bella Weber and Jax Weber. He is also survived by three brothers, Robert (Barb) Mather of Salem, Richard (Lynn) Mather of Colorado, Tom (Carmel) Mather of Salem; two sisters, Bonnie (John) Woodman of Michigan and Terri (Lee) McDonald of Beloit. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Laura Ward and Frank and Florence Mather. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Amey officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 4-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will take place at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Goshen Township.
