Jack Ward

Jack Ward, 71 of Alliance passed away, Monday, September 17, 2007, at Alliance Community Hospital. Jack was born on June 28, 1936, in Alliance, Ohio to the late John and Opal D. (Oswalt) Ward. Mr. Ward retired from the Chrysler Stamping Plant as a press operator. Jack was a member of the UAW and enjoyed watching the Browns play. He is survived by his wife Joann McIlvain Ward whom he married Oct. 16, 1967, he is also survived by his children; Kevin (Becky), LeeAnn, Michael, Karen (Macky), Terri, Robert (Amy) and Teresa (Darrell) as well as several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his brother Robert and a daughter Darlene. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday Sept. 20, 2007 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, Sept 19th from 2 to 8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance. Memorial contributions can be made to Alliance Hospice or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
