Jack Woods Jr

Jack Walker Woods Jr.., 82, of Sebring, passed away at McCrea Manor on Sunday, April 4, 2010. Jack was born on July 14, 1927 in Westville, Ohio, the son of the late Jack W. Sr. and Mary (Morgan) Woods. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was also in the Merchant Marines, Jack retired after 25 years of service from the GM Terex Division in Hudson, OH, he was also a life member of the VFW Post 6730 in Sebring. Survivors include a son Jack (Diana) Woods III of Atwater; two daughters Stephanie (George) Hurt of Greenville, Florida and Stacy Woods of Youngstown; 2 grand daughters Amy Bennett and Jenifer More and great grandchildren Carie, Jena and Emma, all of Atwater. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria (Rothermel) Woods on June 3rd, 2000; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Phillips of the Liberty Bible Church of Atwater officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday April 6th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm with the family present from 6 to 8 pm. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
