Jacob "Jake" Scott

Jacob “Jake” Scott, age 17, of Beloit passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2007 in Goshen Township due to an auto accident. He was born August 7, 1989 in Alliance, Ohio to Michael R. and Barbara (Martin) Scott. Jacob was a member of the Beloit Evangelical Friends Church. A Junior at Sebring McKinley High School, where he was a member of the Trojan Basketball Team, the Golf Team, SADD, Student Council and an office Aide at the High School. Jake will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Barbara Scott of Beloit; brother Josh Scott of Beloit; Maternal Grandfather John Martin of Sebring; Paternal Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ramon (Doris) Scott of Beloit and many aunts and uncles and cousins Services will be held at the Beloit Evangelical Friends Church on Friday February 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Mark Reich officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday February 1, 2007 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home from 2:00 to 9:00 PM with the family present from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and also 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jacob “Jake” Scott Scholarship Fund in care of Sebring McKinley High School 225 East Indiana Ave. Sebring, Ohio 44672.
