James âJimâ Robert Craig Sr., 69, of Alliance passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. Jim was born in Beloit, on October 15, 1941 the son of the late William and Neva (Baird) Craig; he worked at American Steel Foundries in Alliance for 32 years and loved to go bowling, and spending time outdoors; he was known for always lending a helping hand to those in need. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan; however he most enjoyed spending his time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Carole (Baddeley) Craig, three daughters; Theresa (Terry) Aberegg, Kim Hanes all of Alliance, Kelli (Phil) Lee of Florida and a son James R. (Tonia) Craig Jr. of Alliance. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Carl (Amanda) Hill Jr, Brandi (Lewis) Ambrose, Mindy Hanes, Lindsey Hurford, Jim Craig III, Kassie (Zack) Norvell, Andrew Lee, Katie Lee, Thomas Texiera, Jessica Pierce, Brook Hill and Jesse Hill, several great grandchildren a sister Joy Beckley and a brother David Craig both of Carrollton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Sheri L. Hill and Janice I. Schneider. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
