James Davenport Sr

James V. Davenport Sr., 74 of Sebring passed away on May 29, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Davenport was born in Alliance on July 5, 1935, the son of late Harold and Rose L. (Locker) Davenport. James attended Sebring Presbyterian Church, and was a graduate of Sebring High School. He loved bowling and was an avid golfer. James is survived by his wife Pam (Oldfield) Davenport whom he married on July 28, 1988. He is also survived by his son James V. Davenport Jr. of Shelton, Wash.; Daughter Kelly Rose of Indiana; Son Jason Freeman Oldfield of Sebring; Daughter Kimberly L. Davenport of Sebring; son Zachery Davenport of Homeworth; Sister Sylvia Davenport of Sebring; son Harold Denny (Trish) Davenport of Midwest City, Okla.; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Davenport was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter- in- law Faith Davenport on 5-21-2010. Services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev.Tammy Butcher officiating.
