James Mcelroy

James E. McElroy, 97 of Alliance and former Sebring resident passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Canterbury Villa in Alliance. James was born in New Castle, PA on September 8, 1917 the son of the late James E. and Jenella (Hysear) McElroy. He revived his degree in Music and attended the Sebring Presbyterian Church where his sister was the music director; he was also a piano repairman and University Band Director. Mr. McElroy was the last known survivor of his local family, besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Helen, a brother Clarence M. and a sister Dorothy B.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery Chapel in Sebring with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home Sebring, OH (330) 938-2526.
