James Shaffer

James Alan Shaffer, 63 of New Waterford passed away at Caprice Health Care Center in North Lima on Friday, February 6, 2015. James was born in Salem on April 4, 1951 the son of the late Russell and Mary (Schimp) Shaffer; he was employed by Hertz Rental and enjoyed playing games of chance but his most important hobby was his family and friends who always knew they could turn to him for a joke or a laugh.
Survivors include his two daughters; Jennifer Shaffer of Moon Township, PA, Stephanie Shaffer of Bradenton, FL; 3 grandchildren Tatum, Aaden, Ailey and a brother Gary Shaffer of New Waterford.
A Graveside service for James will take place in the Chapel at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit at 1:30PM on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 with Rev. Jon Dodson officiating.
