James Swarts

James Michael Swarts, of Sebring, Ohio passed away at 5:13 AM May 16, 2009 at Salem Community Hospital. James was born in Alliance, Ohio on October 9, 1962, the son of James E. and Kay (Whitlatch) Swarts. Mr. Swarts will be fondly remembered for his work at the Carnation Playhouse Theater and the Salem Community Theater. He was a member of the Sebring Church of the Nazarene. James graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in Education, he worked as an exterminator for Aid Pest Control; he loved riding his bicycle going to Drive-In Movies and was a member of the Tri County UFO Club. James is survived by his father of Las Vegas, NV; his mother of Sebring his uncle Joseph Whitlatch of Sebring, an aunt Mary Louise Mohnacky of Alliance and an uncle Robert (Sherri) Whitlatch of Moultrie, GA, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Sebring Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19th at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM and also the hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made The Sebring Church of the Nazarene 626 West Maryland Avenue, Sebring, OH 44672.
