James E. Wilson, 88 of Sebring passed away Wednesday, June 6th at Crandall Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1918 in Sebring to the late Charles and Laura (Imobersteg) Wilson. A graduate of Beloit High School in 1936, he served in the US Army during WWII. James was a Mail Carrier in Beloit until his retirement and also belonged to Sebring Trinity Lutheran Church, the Sebring Masonic Lodge F&AM and the Alliance Shrine Club. James is survived by his two sons Larry (Frances) Wilson of Southern Pines, NC and M. Scott (Carey) Wilson of Chagrin Falls, OH he is also survived by four grandchildren; Alaina Wilson, Kelly Wilson, Laura Baylor, Martha Frances Maxwell and a great granddaughter Isabella Grace Baylor. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha in 1991, a sister Mary Flora in 2002 and a brother Donald Wilson. Funeral Services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Southern Pines, NC, on Tuesday, June 12 at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
