Jan Mcdaniel

Jan Brownlee McDaniel, 67, of North Georgetown passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at home. Jan was born in Warren, Ohio, on September 21, 1943 the daughter of Ray and Ruth (Humphrey) Brownlee. Mrs. McDaniel was a graduate of West Branch High School, Class of 1961. She owned and operated Jan’s Beauty Shop for 20 years, worked in the office at Ponderosa Park for over 20 years, and was a secretary at Gause Equipment. Jan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Frank with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage on August 5, 2010; two daughters, Jamie (Mike) McElwain of North Georgetown, Casey (Shawn) Mesler of Damascus; 4 grandchildren; Taylor, Bailey, Riley and Hayden, and a brother Robert Brownlee of Homeworth. She was preceded in death by her father Ray and her parents Ruth & Bill Freshley. A memorial service will be held Thursday February 10, 2011, at 7PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
