Janet M. (Swanson) Lingafelt

Janet M. (Swanson) Lingafelt, 81 of North Jackson, passed away on March 23, 2016 at Altercare of Alliance. Janet was born in Youngstown on November 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Carl and Bernice (Hunt) Swanson. Janet spent her life as a beautician and a Floral Designer until she retired in 1999. She enjoyed to work around the house and spend time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son Jim (Melissa) Lingafelt of Alliance; two grandsons Andrew Lingafelt and Brent (Ayla) Lingafelt and a great granddaughter Charlotte “Charlie” along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James whom passed on March 19, 2015, a brother Carl Swanson Jr.; two sisters Dorothy Dotson and Marjorie Bohnstedt.
A time of visitation will take place on Saturday March 26, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
