Janice Henderson

Janice “Jan” Darlene Henderson, 68, of Salem passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Jan was born in Alliance the daughter of the late Selby and Grace (Hartzell) Manypenny on July 14, 1943. She enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing and gardening, she also liked to go dancing and spending time with her dogs. Survivors include her life partner Allen Derry of Salem, a daughter Lorie (Roland) Case of Alliance, a son Mark (Colette) Birkhimer of Hanoverton, a son Jerry (Jami) Derry of Streetsboro,, four grandchildren; Amanda Case of Canton, Zachary, Nathan Birkhimer of Columbiana, Cole Birkhimer of Hanoverton and a great grandchild Mason Case of Canton. She is also survived by two sisters Patty (Homer) Sanor of Beloit and Debbie (Lon) Bartchy of Beloit. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Linda and a daughter Christine. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service.
