Janice "Jan" Solmen

Janice “Jan” Louise Solmen 46, of Salem died Friday afternoon due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born March 15, 1960 in Salem to Robert and the late Janice L. (Frantz) Woodworth, Jan was a lifelong Salem resident and worked at Ort Furniture. She enjoyed motorcycles and bowling in her spare time. Besides her father she is survived by three sons; Michael (Shawna) Solmen, Rod (Candi) Solmen and Mark Solmen all of Salem, a daughter Ashley Solmen of the home, ten grandchildren and a brother Rodney Woodworth of Salem. Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at the Historic Hope Cemetery Chapel with Lou Raymond Pastor Emeritus Carrollton Disciples of Christ Church officiating.
