Jeffery Prendergast

Jeffery Lee Prendergast, 49, of St. Petersburg, Florida and formerly of Ravenna passed away on January 12, 2010 from the results of injuries sustained in an accident. Jeffery was born in Bedford, Ohio on October 12, 1960 the son of Ronald E. and Janet (Powers) Prendergast. Jeffery was employed by the Bulum Company in the lawn maintenance division; he loved the outdoors and in his spare time he could be found doing odd jobs for family and friends. Survivors include; his parents of Beloit, a brother Wayne A. (Cheryl) Prendergast of St. Petersburg, Fl, three sisters; Debra (Paul) Bittner of Bethpage, TN, Judy (Henry) Thomas of Portland, TN, and Darlene Coon of Parkersburg, WV. Preceding him in death were a sister Cindy Prendergast on October 12, 1998 and his maternal grandparents Allen and Clara Powers and his paternal grandparents James and Grace Prendergast. A Funeral Service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM with pastor Tammy Butcher officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Quaker Hill Cemetery in Sebring. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
