Jennie Yezzi Howells

Jennie Giacomina Yezzi Howells, 91 of Salem passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Salem Community Hospital. Jennie was born in Robertsdale, Pennsylvania on October 27, 1920 the daughter of the late Cesidio and Appolonia (Centi) Yezzi. She is survived by three children Jim (Carol) Howells, Max (Jane) Howells and Audrey (Martin) Prenosil; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Jennie is also survived by her siblings, Phyllis Zinobile, Mary Yonish, Carmela Granata, and Joseph Yezzi. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James (Sonny) Howells, a brother Isadore Yezzi and a nephew George Yonish Jr. Jennie will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Salem with Father Stephen Wassie officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
