Joan E. Bourgoujian, 73 of Beloit passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Joan was born in Altar Bend, New York on January 5, 1942 the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Lamberton) Wray. Joan worked at FERRO for 20 years as a finisher and Colfor in Salem as a C & C Operator. She was a member of NAMI for 10 years and enjoyed spending her free time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Souren, a daughter Chris Ann (Richard) Twaddle of Sebring, a son Andrew Bourgoujian of the home, four grandchildren; Nicole (Jeff) Hamon, Richard (Kaela) Twaddle, Zane A. Twaddle and Alex J. Twaddle; three great-grandchildren Nora Jane, Gary Robert, and Maggie Elizabeth. She is also survived by two brothers Clarence Wray, Howard Wray and a sister Betty Wray. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Ronald, Walter Jr. and Roger.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday October 16, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s honor to National Alliance for Mental Illness c/o Consumers National Bank, Dickey Drive, Lisbon, OH 44432.
