Joan Grove

"Together Again" Joan L. Grove, age 77, of Homeworth passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 at Community Care of Alliance. She was born in Beloit, Ohio, on Jan. 7, 1930, to the late Lester & Dale (Hudson) Morrow. Joan was a member of the Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Sebring High School, class of 1947. She enjoyed playing cards and going to Atlantic City and Mountaineer Park to play the slots. She was an avid bowler prior to her illness. Mrs. Grove is survived by 2 daughters Connie Donohue of Homeworth; Cindy (Kelly) Knapp of N. Canton; a son Terry (Theresa) Grove of Homeworth, and a cousin Bernice Shutler of Alliance. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Andrea & Levi Gregory, Tracie & Casey Jones, Terry & Judy Grove Jr.,Steven & Allyssia Albrecht, David Albrecht, Kristi Albrecht, David Donahue, Daniel Donohue and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alfred J. Grove whom she married Oct. 26, 1947, who passed away on Sept 2, 2003 and sister Gloria Grove. Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday Dec. 27, 2007, with Rev. Thomas Sawyer officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. with the family present from 6 - 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in North Georgetown Cemetery.
