John Herold Sr

John W. Herold Sr. 75, of Maryville, TN and formerly of Damascus passed away at his home on Friday, March 28, 2014. John was born in Salem, OH on February 2, 1939 the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Price) Herold Sr.; he was a graduate of Salem High School and a veteran of the US Air Force. John was employed by KLOTE International Corporation.
Survivors include his 6 children; John (Lyn) Herold of Crestview, FL, Kevin Herold of Maryville, TN, Mark (Sheila) Herold of Sebring, OH, Matt (Sissy) Herold of Maryville, TN, Cheryl Herold of Maryville, TN, and Tim (Michele) Herold of Maryville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren 2 brothers Howard Herold Jr., Gary Herold and a sister Mary Phillips all of Hanoverton, OH. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Corrine (Hoffman) in December of 1997, and a brother Dave.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1PM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home in Sebring, OH with Pastor Roy Teague officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM till the time of service. Burial will take place at Damascus Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
