John Mcgee

John David McGee, 62, of Columbiana formerly of Salem, passed away on July 22, 2013 at Hospice House of Poland. He was born in Youngstown, on August 19, 1950, the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Sarah (Hopkins) McGee. He studied at Case Western Reserve University and Kent State and worked as an electrical engineer at Coil Line Service. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patricia (Marshall) whom he married on August 19, 1973, two daughters, Mandy McGee of Forest Park, Illinois, and Sara McGee of the home. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph (Susan) McGee of Boardman and Rich (Terri) McGee of Edmond, Oklahoma and a sister Marie (Tom) Spangler of Mansfield. A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 25, 2013 at 6:00 PM at Salem First United Methodist Church with Rev. P. Douglas George officiating. Friends may call from 4:30 – 6:00 PM at the church. Inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
