John Wafler

John J. Wafler, age 85, of Beloit passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at his residence. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on Jan.19, 1922, the son of the late William Arnold and Ida (Biery) Wafler. John was a member of the Alliance First Friends Church. He was a farmer his whole life and a member of the Columbiana County Farm Bureau He is survived by his wife Vesta (Felger) whom he married on Dec. 28, 1941, four sons, William E. (Charlotte) Wafler of Salem; Kenneth B. Wafler ; Fred J. (Colleen) Walfer and Thomas L. Wafler all of Beloit, and sister Marie Klyne of Carmichael, CA.. John also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, granddaughters Brenda (Dale)Johnson; Karen Wafler; Cheryl Wafler; Haley Wafler; grandson Jerry Wafler and great grandson Nathan Johnson. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his brother Donald Wafler and Sister Anna Mae Phillips Services will be held at Alliance First Friends Church Friday, March 30, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Rick Sams and Dr. Edward Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home , on Thursday March 29 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM with family present from 4:00-6:00 pm Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
