Johnnie Edward Bickle Jr. 80 of Beloit passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.  Johnnie was born in Alliance on January 15, 1935 the son of the late John E. Sr. and Margaret (Andreas) Bickle.  Mr. Bickle served as a Sargent in the National Guard, a Tool and Die maker by trade; he worked at Quaker Manufacturing and in the maintenance department at MPI Labels.  Johnnie was involved in many things; a volunteer at Alliance Hospital, a State Champion Speed Skater where he met his wife Marie Belle Carver whom he married on August 2, 1957, he was an avid bowler bowling several 300 games, he was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame and served as secretary of many leagues through the years, a past President of the Alliance Men’s Bowling Association he enjoyed fishing, hunting (known for his excellent marksmanship), riding Harley’s, helping out on the farm and cutting firewood.  Johnnie was known for his ability to trouble shoot problems and come up with the right solutions. He was a member of Smith grange, the McDonalds Seniors where he could be found every morning drinking coffee and playing cards; but even though he was busy he always found time to support his grandchildren in anything they were involved in.

Survivors include his daughter; Susan (Gerald) Santee of Winona, Kathy (John) Salvino of Salem, Joannie (Len) Wartluft of Alliance, Beth (Aaron) Risden of Salem, a son Mark Bickle of Beloit, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife on June 26, 2007, a brother Robert Bickle, a great grandson Michael Bower and his son in law Fred Mix.

A Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday April 30, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 29th from 6-8PM.  Burial will take place at Deerfield Cemetery.  Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home Sebring, OH (330) 938-2526.
