Joseph Albert

Joseph Edward Albert, 84, of Alliance passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance surrounded by his loved ones. Joseph was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania on August 3, 1925 the son of the late Nicholas and Rose (Ondras) Albert. Mr. Albert was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving during WWII; he worked at Morgan Engineering and the Mullins Company. Joseph enjoyed sports; he especially loved the Indians and the Browns. Survivors include; a daughter Kathy Young of Alliance, a son Kelly (Corena) Albert of Alliance, a daughter Paula Albert of California, a son Edward Albert of California, a step-son Darrel Herzog of Sebring, step-daughter Karen (Kenny) Butler of Alliance, three grandchildren; Kaylee, Kelsey, and Kyle and several step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Mary Shasteen and Rose (Fred) Johnson and a brother Cyril Albert all of Salem. Besides his parents Joseph was preceded in death by a brother Steve Albert, two sisters; Ann Albert, Mildred Hagen and a son-in law Daniel Young. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service.
