Joseph Filbert

Joseph “Joe” M. Filbert, 65 of Salem and formerly of McDonald passed away at Salem Community Hospital on Friday, December 17, 2010. Joe was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 19, 1945; he was a US Navy Veteran, and in his lifetime had worked as a certified welder, was in charge of a Superior Dairy route and recently retired from Sky Bank. Survivors include his two children; Michael (Tina) Filbert of Salem and Adrienne (Bob Leiendecker) Filbert of Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Tuesday. Burial will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman on Thursday, December 23rd at 11:30 AM.
