Joseph Eugene Hughes

Joseph Eugene Hughes, 74 of Sebring passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital. Joseph was born in Sebring, Ohio on November 8, 1941, the son of the late Harold and Minniebell (Waugaman) Hughes. Joseph was in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He worked at General Motors Company and was part of the Masonic Order.
Survivors include his wife Gretchen Hughes; son Corey (Misty) Hughes; daughter Tarry (Nathan) Schaefer; a brother Wilber (Gayle) Hughes; sister Levenia Hull; five grandchildren Ashley, Logan and Dylan Schaefer, Mallory and Mason Hughes; and great grandson Carson Schaefer. Besides his parents Joseph was preceded in death by a brother Leland Hughes; three sisters Jean Graham, Margie Castle and Lois Agnew.
