Joseph Werbung

Joseph Werbung, 94, of Alliance passed away August 6, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. Joseph was born in Alliance on August 5, 1918 the son of Paul and Julia (Pak) Werbung. He was a US Army veteran serving in WWII and the Korean War. Mr. Werbung worked as a metallurgical tech for Transue/Williams. Survivors include his brother Robert Werbung of Granville, Texas, a niece Jo Ann Werbung of Alliance and good friends John and Hilda Reggi of Sebring. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Ann Kerns and Rose Richards and four brothers, John, Charles, William and Paul. A private family service will be held with burial at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s honor to Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 S.
