Joyce Allison

Joyce Ann Allison, 75, of Alliance passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her home. Joyce was born in Salem on February 21, 1936 the daughter of the late William and Esther (Hall) Jenkins; she was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked at Americana China in Sebring and was a member of the Sebring Lutheran Church. Joyce was also a former member of Smith Grange and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making various craft projects. Survivors include her husband of 57 years Donald Allison whom she married on May 14, 1954 of Alliance, four children David (Dianne) Allison of North Benton, William (Holly) Allison of Kent, Michael (Kenny) Allison of Akron, and Dawn (Mark) Plumley of Alliance. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Brian (Stefanie) Allison of North Benton, Vanessa (Tony) LaRocca of Akron, Samantha Allison of Cuyahoga Falls, Melissa (Mike Boyd) Allison of Brimfield, Brittani Sinkovich of Alliance, 9 great grandchildren and a brother Donald (JoAnne) Jenkins of Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Peggy Hawkins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
