Joyce Tausch

Joyce Tausch, 87, of Canton Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Sanctuary Grande. Joyce was born on August 13, 1934 in Sebring, Ohio to the late Lester and Arline (Zietz) Locke. Joyce enjoyed cooking and singing and loved having the Bible read to her. She always looked forward to their family and friend vacations to Myrtle Beach and enjoyed trips with Chuck to Alaska and Hawaii. Most important was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


Joyce is survived by her two daughters Cathy (Joseph Sammartino) Tausch of Canton, Amy (Steven) Fleck, and three grandchildren Ashley, Matthew and Marissa Fleck all of Wadsworth. Joyce is also survived by two sisters Barbara Sanderson of Tuson, AZ. and Elsie Lewandoski of Alliance. Besides her parents Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Charles Tausch who passed away on February 23, 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Jackson with Pastor Rufus Hofelt officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Private burial took place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio.
