June Youmans

June E. Youmans, 85 of Sebring, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital. June was born in Putnyville, Pennsylvania on November 11, 1923 the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Smith) Carlisle, she graduated from Ken High in New Kensington, PA in the class of 1941, she worked for Royal China and retired from Modern China in 1996. June was also a member of the First Church of God in Alliance. Survivors include her two daughters; Sandra (Jim) Meyers of Salem, Sally (Rick) Gednetz of Beloit, a son Sam (Becky) Youmans of Glen Ellyn, IL, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Robert Carlisle of Cambridge, OH and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel H. Youmans on August 17, 1993 and her brother Edward. Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 11 to 1 PM. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
