Kathleen L. Pinkerton, 84, of Sebring passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital. Kathleen was born in Alliance on November 27, 1925 the daughter of the late Ray and Louise (May) Mulinix; she graduated from the Alliance High School Class of 1943 and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sebring. Kathleen was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 2199 in Minerva, the Sebring VFW Auxiliary #6730; she was an avid bowler and loved her family and grandchildren. Survivors include; her husband of 62 years Charles L. Pinkerton of Sebring whom she married August 30, 1947, a daughter Shareen “Sherri” (Daniel) Garber of White Lake, MI, a son Larry D. (Susie) Pinkerton of Stow, a daughter in law Marjorie (John) Bianco of Hubbard, nine grandchildren; Sarah, Shane, Stephanie, Samuel, Danielle, David, Erin, Ian and MacKenzie, and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Patricia Lloyd of Sebring, two brothers; James Mulinix of Alliance and Donald Mulinix of New Philadelphia. Besides his parents she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey on September 19, 1996, and nine brothers and sisters. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. James Case officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday January 19th from 2-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
