Kathryn A. “Katie” Maeluk, age 78, of Sebring passed away at 12:33 PM at the Alliance, Community Hospital on Wednesday March 21, 2007. She was born in San Martinoal Tagliamento, Italy on July 30, 1928 to the late Valentino and Regina (Bortolussi) Pagnucco. Katie came to the US at the age of 2 years old. Katie was a loving mother and proud grandmother and known by all the children who ate at the Sebring School cafeteria where she was a cook for 20 plus years. She was an active member of St Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. She was a member of the St. Ann Altar and Rosary Society, The Alliance Senior Citizens and a former member of the Dante Society, Christopher Columbus Society and OAPSE. She is survived by her husband George Maeluk whom she married on Sept. 29, 1951.Katie leaves behind two daughters Cynthia (Robert) Collins of Hawthorn Woods,IL; Carol (Michael) Stuller of Alliance ;son Craig Maeluk of Navarre, FL; grandson Mathew Stuller; granddaughter Nancy Stuller granddaughter Caitlin Collins grandson Christopher Collins; sister Norma (Louis) Magnacca of Dover, Ohio; and two brothers Jerry (Frances) Pagnucco of Louisville, and Rinaldo (Sibylle) Pagnucco of Somerville, NJ She was preceded by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, Sebring, Ohio on Saturday March 24, 2007 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Paul Pfeiffer officiating. Visitation will be Friday March 23, 2007 at Gednetz –Ruzek Funeral Home from 2:00 PM – 9OO PM with the family present 7-9pm Emtombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home. Friends may view the obituary and sign the guest register on line at www.grfuneralhome.com.
