Keith Eckelberry

Keith Owen Eckelberry, 61, of Alliance, passed away on October 6, 2013 in Boardman. He was born on September 24, 1952 in Alliance, Ohio the son of the late Larry and Irene (Oswalt) Eckelberry. Mr. Eckelberry was a graduate of Marlington High School, a member of Manassas Virginia Church of the Nazarene and attended Sebring Church of the Nazarene. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family especially his granddaughters and his dog Julip. Keith is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janice (Stephenson) Eckelberry whom he married on March 31, 1973, two sons, Criss (Trisha) Eckelberry of Sebring, Jon (Courtnie) Eckelberry of Louisville; a daughter Antha Eckelberry of Alliance; two grandchildren, Kathyrn Irene and Jennie Lynn. He is also survived by a brother Dean Eckelberry of Columbus, three sisters Karen (Gary) Wolford of Baytown, Texas, Marlene (Walter) Hutzley of Baytown, Texas, Elaine (Terry) Koerner of Alliance and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Crabtree. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2013 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fairmount Memorial Park.
