Kenyon W. Park, 88, of North Benton passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Davidson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 12, 1924 the son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Herbert) Park, he was a 1943 graduate of Sebring High School, and a graduate of the University of Akron. He was a United States Air Force Veteran stationed in Mississippi and Texas Air Bases he served during WWII as an engineer on a B-29 Bomber and the Korean War as a Captain and Pilot of B-17 and B-24’s and retired from the Air Force Reserve. He was employed as and Accountant and Systems Analyst for Alliance Ware, Alliance Machine and Self employed. Survivors in clued his two daughters; Nancy A (William) Park-Cooper of Greenville, OH, and Rebecca S. (Tod) Brunie of Sebring, 5 grandchildren; Beth Ann (Rob) Brutcher, Kimberly (Josh) Cullen, Amy Brunie, Edward (Erin) Cooper, Timothy William (Lauren) Cooper and 4 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis I. Park whom he married on May 22, 1950 and preceded him on October 7, 2006, and a sister Leanna. A Private Service will be held on Friday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating and burial will take place at Sebring Grandview Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
