Kiersten Bernier

Kiersten Renee Bernier, 6, of Homeworth, passed away on March 1, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital. Kiersten was born on January 25, 2007 in Salem, the daughter of Joseph “Joe” Bernier and Angie Stoffer. She was a student at Knox Elementary School in the West Branch School District. Survivors include her parents, a brother Kamden Bernier of the home, a sister Kaylee Bernier of the home, maternal grandparents Sherry & James Stoffer of Beloit, paternal grandmother Judy Bernier of Homeworth, maternal great grandparents James & Betty Martin of Alliance and paternal great grandfather Paul Greenawalt of Homeworth. Kiersten is also survived by two uncles, Jesse Stoffer of Beloit, and Paul Bernier of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Ray Bernier. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday March 7, 2013 at Damascus Friends Church with Pastor Steve Lowe officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday March 6, 2013 and the hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
