Lee E. Ramsayer

Lee E. Ramsayer, 82, peacefully passed away at home in Alliance on August 26, 2024. He was born on August 14, 1942, in Alliance, to his late parents Glenn and Beulah (Burkhart) Ramsayer.

Lee is the beloved husband of Barbara (Lower) Ramsayer and cherished father of Michelle (Kurt) Feurstein, Suzanne (Todd) Grisez, and Holly (Cory) Shannon. His love for his family was apparent in every aspect of his life, with his grandchildren Ryan, Kylie, Matthew, Zachary, Zoey, and Austin holding a special place in his heart. Lee was preceded in death by his sister Barbara J. Karlovetz.

A 1960 graduate of Sebring High School, Lee dedicated 40 years of his life to Alliance Steel Products while simultaneously managing his dairy farm. He reveled in the simplicity of farm life and found joy in working the land.

Lee was a member of the Alliance Elks and a passionate supporter of Cleveland sports teams. His hobbies included golfing and was a car enthusiast, with his altruistic nature shining through in his willingness to assist others in need.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Lee's life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit. A live stream of Lee's funeral will be available by visiting the funeral home website and following the live stream link under his obituary. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Lee's honor to the American Heart Association.
