Leonora Ernest

Leonora E. Ernest, age 93, formerly of Warren, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 5:50 AM at Crandall Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1913 in Wellsburg, W. Va. to the late Hiram K. and Mary Elizabeth (McIntire) McClaren . Leonora was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School Class of ’32. , she was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Tanner Eckhart of Alliance; Mary Beth Ernest of Salem; and Judy (James) Buehler of South Euclid; granddaughters Karen Tanner of Sebring and Laura (Douglas) Rutzky of Powell; grandsons Dr. William Tanner of Paris; Paul Buehler of Warren; Jeffrey (Stephanie) Buehler of Columbus granddaughters Mechelle Kistler of Lordstown and Julie Kistler of Kent, great grandson Eliott Rutzky and great granddaughter Eleanor Buehler . Leonora was preceded by her parents; husband William M Ernest whom she married on June 21, 1935 and who passed away on February 18, 2001; three sisters Amy Lazear; Mildred Payne and Marjorie Brock a brother James McClaren and son-in-law William Tanner on 4-17-02 Funeral Services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 with Rev. David Parry officiating, friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Life Care fund at Copeland Oaks, Sebring, Ohio.
