Lester Bollinger

Lester Emanuel Bollinger, 89 of Sebring passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Crandall Medical Center. Lester was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on April 15, 1925 to the late Emanuel and Sara Agnes (Keefer) Bollinger. He was a US Army Veteran and worked for the West Branch Local School District as a custodian for 25 years. Mr. Bollinger was a member of East Goshen Friends Church, the American Legion, Smith Grange, volunteered for Salem Regional Medical Center and enjoyed woodworking, oil painting and ceramics.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Eleanor (Reynolds) Bollinger whom he married on November 24, 1956 of Sebring, and a sister Doris Baronek of Warren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Luetta Coates, Katherine Spellman, Marjorie McElwain and a brother George Bollinger.
A funeral service will take place at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Saturday August 23, 2014. Friends may call the hour prior to the service from 12-1 PM at the funeral home.
