Lewis R. Ferguson, 80 of Beloit passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Altercare of Alliance. Lewis was born in Sebring on August 4, 1929 the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Allmon) Ferguson; he graduated from Sebring High School in the class of 1947 and was a US Army Veteran. Lewis worked for B& W Tube in Alliance and the Alliance Wholesalers; he enjoyed working with wood at his business Ferguson Wood crafting, and helping out at Sebring Tire. Survivors include his wife Joanne Ferguson of Beloit, thre daughters; Tracy Ferguson of Uniontown, Jill (Kerry) Puhl of Alliance, Evelyn Ferguson of Sebring and a son Steven R. Ferguson of Sebring, four grandsons; Matthew Ferguson, Shawn Ferguson, Kyle Puhl and Kelley Puhl. He is also survived by his sisters Vera Stroup, Sylvia Mummert, Verla Detchon a brother Robert Ferguson, many nieces and nephews and his special friends Rick and Laurie Springer and their family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Lou (Kelley) Ferguson, a son James Ferguson and a step daughter Carole Ann Landwert. Per Lewisâ request there will be no services.
