Lillian Herren

Service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home, Sebring with Rev. George Lee officiating, for Lillian Bernice Herren, 85, of Canfield, formerly of Beloit, Boardman, Chardon and Sebring, who died April 2 at home. Mrs. Herren was born Nov. 14, 1922, in Newton Falls, a daughter of Wilbert and Ada Sickle Haught. She also lived in Michigan and Slippery Rock, Pa. She attended Bricktown School in Beloit and Slippery Rock High School and graduated from Sebring High School, class of 1942. She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church and its Ladies Guild and was a former member of Sebring United Methodist Church and the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Alliance. She was a 4-H Advisor for Mahoning Co. She worked for First National Bank, Mount Union College and Plajer & Cross Photography Studio, all in Alliance and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family and home. She leaves her husband, James R., whom she married Oct. 25, 1945; two daughters, Linda K. (Ken) Hartzell of Youngstown and Janice M. (Larry) Wheeler of Williamsburg, Va.; five grandchildren, Diana M (Chris) Fuschillo of Struthers; Denise l. (Cecil) Wiggins of Wilmer, Ala.; Karl R. (Jen Smith) Hartzell of Youngstown; Teresa L. (Chris) Manchen of Solon; and Andrea N. Wheeler of Williamsburg; 10 great grandchildren, Shannon Wiggins of Florida; Joseph, Kelly, Allison and Victoria Wiggins, of Wilmer, Ala.; Chris J., Laura, Kaitlin and Jacob Fuschillo of Struthers; and Morgan Smith of Youngstown; one great-great-granddaughter, Jadyn Wiggins Blackburn of Florida, three nieces Debbie (George) Sillett and Joanne (Wayne) Richards, both of Cleveland and Jill (Jimmy) Weir of South Carolina; a nephew Dr. Gary (Kathy) Gorby of Nebraska; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, two brothers, Jennings and Vernon Haught are deceased. Friends may call Monday from 12:30 till the time of the service.
