Linda Hamilton

Linda J. Hamilton, 67, of Salem passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Salem Community Hospital. Linda was born in Jewett, Ohio on October 18, 1942 the daughter of the late Floyd and Eugenia (Dennis) Bates. She graduated from Jewett High School and received her cosmetology license. Linda was a member of Greenford Christian Church and the Salem Country Club. Mrs. Hamilton was the manager at Raphael’s Academy in Salem. Survivors include her husband Frank Hamilton of Salem whom she married on July 10, 1966, her two sons; Curt (Gina) Hamilton of Alliance, Chris (Tara) Hamilton of Salem and a daughter Lisa (Brian) Wacht of Boardman. She is also survived by six grandchildren, a sister Ruth Wells of Jewett and a brother Jim Bates of Howland. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Chaplain Ross Jackson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Hope Cemetery in Salem.
