Lloyd E. Garrison, 80, of Alliance passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Community Care Center. Lloyd was born in West Virginia on April 7, 1933, the son of the late Harry Lloyd and Ethel (Lowdermilk) Garrison, and served in the US Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. A lifelong area resident, Lloyd worked for PLE Railroad, loved to fish and watch high school football. His grandsons were his pride and joy and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty (Robison) Garrison; two daughters Elena (Dick) Spahr of Alliance, Susan Garrison Timpe of Sebring and a son-in-law John Buchanan; two grandsons, Tyler Bass and Ryan Timpe. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Charles F. Garrison and a nephew Michael Charles Garrison
Friends may call at the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday January 15, 2014 from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lloyds honor to Alliance VNA/Hospice 885 S.
