Lloyd Elwood Ruble, 77, of Alliance left his weary body behind and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2022. Lloyd was born on May 3, 1945 the son of the late Ira and Olive Ruble. He was raised in Middlebourne, West Virginia.
In May of 1965 he married the love of his life, Nancy Ruble and moved to Ohio where they permanently resided. He worked hard his entire life and always provided for his family, which meant the world to him.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing basketball and softball. In his later years, he loved playing a good game of bingo and even had been known to scratch off a ticket or two occasionally.
He leaves behind his daughters Teresa (Jeff) Wilson and Stephanie (Scott) Haynes; five grandsons and one granddaughter; six great grandchildren and two sisters JoAnn Murner and Wilma Yost. Besides his parents Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Nancy; daughter Roxanne; brothers William, Henry, Ira and Chuck and sisters Eileen, Tuni and Helen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Alliance Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Casual attire and flannel welcome. For anyone that knew him well only to wear t-shirts, flannel shirts and rolled up blue jeans. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Ronald McDonald House in Akron as this charity is near and dear to his family.
