Lonnie Douglas Bartchy, 62 of Beloit, Ohio died at Cleveland Clinic on Sunday, March 1, 2015 following a short illness. Mr. Bartchy was born October 4, 1952 in Salem, Ohio to the late Francis and Roberta Bartchy. He worked as a printer at Bronze Star and later owned his own printing shop in Salem, Ohio. He was an avid sports fan for Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, the West Branch Warriors and the Cleveland Indians. He was also a coach for Sebring West Branch Soccer and Baseball.
Mr. Bartchy is survived by his wife, Debbie (Manypenny), whom he married June 8, 1985, three sons David (Hannah), Kevin and Matthew all of Beloit. He is also survived by one grandson Hunter Bartchy, sister-in-law Patty (Homer) Sanor of Beloit and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will take place at the Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home on Thursday March 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Interment will take place in Bethel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Lonnies honor to the Beloit Fire Department Association, 17893 Fifth Street, Beloit, Ohio 44609.
