Lorin M. Murphy

Lorin Murphy, 71 of Salem passed away on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at his home. Lorin was born in Alliance on February 5, 1945 the son of the late Merrell and Eunice(Dillon)Murphy. He retired after 20 years in the United States Navy; Lorin enjoyed building computers and was an avid follower of Jesus Christ and made a point to testify to as many people as he could. Survivors include; his Brothers Daryl Murphy of Alliance, Larry Murphy of Salem, Melvin (B J) Murphy of New Philadelphia, Carl Murphy Alliance sisters Sheryl (Jack) Wildland of Alliance, Karen (Dale) Fay of North Benton and many nieces, nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 11:30 to 12:30. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
