Louis Delpuppo

Louis J. DelPuppo, 62 of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. Louis was born in Alliance on March 2, 1949, the son of the late Orelio “Ray” and Clara L. (Vineri) DelPuppo; he was a graduate of Marlington High School and was the former owner and operator of “The Works” in Alliance. Louis was very active in the Alliance community and was the organizer of “Summerfest” at the College Plaza and was a manager of various girls’ softball teams. Survivors include his four children; Deanette (Joseph) Clance of Kansas City, MO. Clara (James) Monroe of Harrisburg, PA, Sarah DelPuppo of Alliance, Teresa (Garrette) Riesen of Alliance and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Paul R. (Ann) DelPuppo of Alliance and three Aunts Betty Rajkovich, Linda Buccki and Nancy Vineri. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Cheryl (Allison) DelPuppo on February 1, 2010 a brother Armondo “Herman” DelPuppo and an infant brother Louis J. DelPuppo. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Shepherd officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
